Carl is probably the best person I will ever know- absolutely selfless, loving and generous.  He comes to visit the studio and I see a lump under his tee shirt.  “Carl, I know you have a big heart, but what is that lump?”, I ask. It is a cardio monitor that checks his heart and remotely talks to his doctor.  “Will you take off your shirt so I can take some photos”?  He does.  I make this little sculpture and shortly after I ask Carl if he would like the sculpture to talk with his voice.  I give him a recorder and he gives me words.  He died shortly after.  Want to know what Carl’s advice is for how to live this life?
